Back in 1931, a collection of
fishing cottages began welcoming guests to a lush stretch of Florida’s
Captiva Island, nestled between the Gulf of Mexico and Pine Island
Sound. Now spanning 13 bay-to-beaches acres, the ‘Tween Waters Inn Island Resort has grown up into a sophisticated property offering not only cottages but suites, studios and guest rooms, along with southern hospitality and an ever-popular free breakfast. There's no shortage of things for families to do, from swimming, kayaking, and biking
to spa, golf and tennis.
The resort is celebrating its 80th birthday this fall with a Free Night promotion. Visit for three or more consecutive nights between August 15 and October 6, and you'll get 20% off the rack rate, plus one free night, plus an $80 dining credit. When we priced the offer for a
four-night stay in September for a family of four, we found a nightly rate of $120 for a standard room in
the inn with a pool view. That translates to a savings of 30% off the best available rate of $150. With promo rate and free night, the four-night stay costs just $360, a savings of 40% off the regular price of $600. Add in the dining credit and this becomes an even better deal. The promo is good on all room categories, including one-bedroom bayside suites, which can be had for $205 a night (a savings of $50 off the best available rate).
Note: There are some blackout dates, and you can only book this rate by phone. Call 800/223-5865 and ask for the Free Night rate.
