New waterpark and sale at Renaissance Orlando at SeaWorld

What do you get when you combine a brand new Florida water attraction with a family vacation? Happy kids. Throw in discounted hotel rates plus free breakfasts and you'll see mom and dad smile, too. The Renaissance Orlando at SeaWorld, located directly across from the popular marine attraction and its sister park Discovery Cove, now boasts its own waterpark. The R Aqua Zone is an interactive water playground complete with two twisting, turning water slides, periscope guns, a water windmill, rain tree, gyroscope spinner and more. There's a play area designed for tweens and teens, and toddlers have their own pint-sized playzone.

The resort is celebrating the R Aqua Zone's grand opening by offering a Splash & Stay promo price: a flat rate of $89 per night on stays between August 7 and October 1. Plus, kids under 12 eat breakfast free. When we test-booked a weekend stay in August we found that the $89 nightly rate with the promo was $30 less than the $119 leisure rate, for a savings of about 25%. That promo rate translates to even bigger savings on a weekend in September, when the leisure rate jumps to $179 per night. (We found that available dates for the promo rate get scarce at the end of September, so keep that in mind.)
