Looking for an all-inclusive vacation deal for this year? Check out the semi-annual sale going on at Club Med: Seven-night vacations are starting at $599 per person—with kids getting a sharply discounted rate. And while most Club Meds require a seven-night stay for this rate, at Sandpiper Bay—the Florida resort on the Saint Lucie River that has three pools, two restaurants,  tennis, golf and a circu schoool— you only need to book a a three-night stay.

When we checked rates there for an early June trip, a three-night trip for a family of four came to $1,466, marked down from a regular rate of $2,070—a nearly 30% savings. (The discounted kids rate account for about $300 of the total sale price.) The all-inclusive rates include all meals, snacks, drinks and most supervised kids clubs and activities.

Once considered playgrounds for singles, Club Med properties have evolved to be very family-friendly, offering unique kids programs for high specific age ranges—such as  tennis, sailing, circus school or cooking classes. They also offer programs for tykes under 2, and baby perks such as highchairs, strollers and cribs upon arrival. Grown-ups can do sports classes including golf, tennis, sailing and more.

To get the special rate, you must book by July 11 and travel through December 23. As usual, some blackout dates apply. One hitch: Rates do not include the one-time Club Med membership fees of $60 per adult and $30 per child, for first time Club Med guests. Book the online or by calling 800/258-2633 (CLUBMED).
