It happens every spring. As temperatures starting inching their way up in the Arizona desert, the hotel rates start sinking throughout the summer. And if your idea of a summer vacation is playing in the pool, sending the kids to the hotel camp and chilling in a spa, then who cares if it's hot? That's why we love seeing round-ups of deals like the  Summer in Scottsdale deals posted by the Scottsdale CVB. One offer that caught our eye was the Experience More package at the Four Seasons Scottsdale at Troon North. The package delivers a $100 resort credit for every two nights you stay, and those rates start at $224 a night in the summer. Just how nice is this seasonal discount? If you tried to get the same room for an April visit, it would cost you more than $400 a night. Plus, you can save even more if you use your $100 credit on meals. Like other Four Seasons properties, this hotel offers the all-day Kids for All Seasons club, which is free for  guests ages 4 to 12. The hotel also has complimentary guided hikes and salsa- and maragarita-making demonstrations.

While most of the packages are for hotels, some are just for food—like free appetizers at Scottsdale restaurants—or a "buy two, get one free" offer on a nice, cool river rafting excursion.
