Set on 200 acres less than two miles down the road from Disney's Magic Kingdom, the Orlando World Center Marriott Resort boasts one million gallons of water in its six swimming pools (two of which are just for kids).  Boring it's not, with a 106-foot waterslide, daily poolside activities (think dive-in movies, beach ball drop, hula hoop contests and more), a sand play area, arcade, spa, golf, nearly a dozen restaurants and lounges, and courts for tennis, basketball and volleyball.

The 4-Night Orlando Vacation Special lets you save 25% off your nightly rate when you stay four or more nights.  The catch with this deal is that you have to pay in full when you book; you can change your travel dates but you won't get a refund if you cancel your stay.  When we test-booked this deal for a four-night stay in October, Marriott's web site showed a nightly rate of $217 for a standard, resort-view room.  That is indeed 25% off the regular rack rate of $289 a night. It also beats the resort's lowest available rate (advanced purchase, non-refundable) of $249 a night. When we tested this offer for four-night stay in March, the system turned up a nightly rate of $224. That's savings of more than 25% off the regular rack rate of $299 a night, and again beats the lowest available rate of $279.
