In this down economy, more and more resorts are sweetening their travel deals with value-added perks like upgrades, freebies, and resort credits, which work like rebates that guests can use to purchase on-site food, activites, and services during their stay. We're used to seeing resort credits run anywhere from $25 to $75 a day, but one resort in the Caribbean has just rolled out a deal that makes $75 look like chump change. The Landings St. Lucia has introduced an "Invest in Yourself" promotion that provides a whopping $1,000 in resort credit on a minimum five-day stay, which can be used to mix and match family-friendly activities ranging from water sports, golf, spa, adventure tours, and more.
The offer is good through April 30, and the $200-a-day credit can be used towards the following:
- Spa treatments and products
- Food and beverage purchases, including room service
- Waterskiing and wakeboard lessons and rentals
- Sailing lessons
- Snorkel trips
- Adventure excursions including golf, Rrainforest zipline tour, and scuba tours
Rates start at $490 a night for a two-bedroom Deluxe Harbor Front Villa Suite with kitchen and separate living room. The deal is based on quad occupancy. A stay at The Landings St. Lucia always includes high-speed Internet access, kayak and sailboat rental, and a shuttle service to Rodney Bay Village shops and restaurants.
You can book online or call 877/657-ROCK and mention the "Invest in Yourself" promotion. Note: Taxes, gratuities, and $30-a-day resort fee are not included.
