Wall Street is getting a bailout, and so can you. The Myrtle Beach Area Convention and Visitors Bureau has rallied about a dozen local hotels and resorts to offer Vacation Bailout Packages that give relief to visitors in these challenging economic times. Each hotel has its own deal on the table; most offer either a fourth night free (which translates to a 25% discount) or fifth night free (the same as a 20% discount). Not bad, but when we do the math (our recession travel rule no. 1), we find that three deals out of the bunch offer even deeper savings:
