Stay a week in the Bahamas, get $500 cash back

The Caribbean is awash with bargains, but this is the best deal we've seen yet. The Nassau Paradise Island Promotion Board is offering a cash-rebate promotion that's wonderfully straightforward: Book seven nights or longer in any of 17 resorts and get a $500 cash rebate. Book three to six nights and get $250 back. What we love most about this deal is that the participating resorts cover a wide price range, so you don't have to splurge for a luxury property in order to get your rebate. The options are:

How it works: Download a rebate form and be sure to read the fine print. You must book by November 16 and travel by February 28, 2009. (Holiday blackout dates are November 23 to 30 and December 20 to January 4, 2009.) The offer is good for air-hotel packages only. Flights must originate in the US. Save your receipts. You'll need to mail them in after your vacation in order to receive your rebate check.
