 Located just six miles from the Phoenix airport, the AAA four-diamond Arizona Grand Resort is most famous for its oversized suites, golf course, spa, and six-acre Oasis outdoor waterpark, featuring a lazy river, giant wave pool, eight-story tower with three waterslides, kiddie splash pool, and 25-person hot tub. The resort is on the doorstep of the 16,000-acre South Mountain Preserve, which has more than 60 miles of trails for hiking, horseback riding and mountain biking. The Arizona Grand is offering its low summer prices through September 30, with suites going for as little as $139 a night (not including resort fee and taxes).
