Nearly a million children and adults visit Washington state's crop of children's museums each year, reports the Seattle Times. And now even more kids will be able to take advantage of the kind of cool interactive exhibits offered at the popular Seattle Children's Museum at the Seattle Center. A new program sponsored by the state's early learning department ensures that 13 children's museums around Washington will offer some free admission days. The upshot: Be sure to call ahead to find out when free days are scheduled at the museum of your choice. Time your visit right, and you could save some money.
